Please call 978-276-0040 for more info Flint Library and Town Hall (box in lobby by gym) are currently closed.

Run by the Christian Community Service Organization of North Reading, the pantry is located at 150 Haverhill Street and is open Monday mornings from 9:30-11:00a and on the 1st and 3rd Monday evenings from 6:30-8:00p. If you have a food donation you can bring it to the NR Post Office or Stop & Shop or we are accepting donations at the Pantry on Mondays and Fridays from 11 am- 1 pm.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated shopping bags! We are officially fully stocked and do not need any more bags at this time. We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we need them again!

JUNE ITEM OF THE MONTH: INSTANT COFFEE

We are currently running low on Instant Coffee and would love your help restocking our shelves. Please consider picking up a can or two during your grocery runs this month.

As a reminder, there are drop-off bins across town at:

A huge thank you to the hardworking team from Liberty Mutual for giving the pantry a total spring makeover last week.

From weeding, raking, and mulching the outdoor beds to washing every window and scrubbing the floors inside, this crew did it all. The pantry is officially sparkling!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who contributed to last weekend’s Stamp Out Hunger food drive. Even with the wet weather, this community showed up in a BIG way for our neighbors in need.

We are thrilled to share that we saw a whopping 50% increase in donations compared to last year! It is truly amazing to see the impact we can have when we come together.

A special shout-out to the DiCarlo family and parishioners at Union Congregational Church for receiving and sorting donations. We couldn't have done it without you!

Rain or shine…tomorrow’s the day! Please help us fill our shelves by putting a bag or two of non-perishable food donations next to your mailbox in the morning. Your letter carrier will pick them up and deliver directly to the Food Pantry.

A HUGE thank you to Moynihan Lumber for hosting a fantastic April Food Drive! Throughout the month Moynihan collected over 100 bags of food and raised $400 in cash donations. We appreciate your continued partnership and know North Reading is a stronger community because of you!

Attention North Reading, the countdown is on! This Saturday, May 9, we’re teaming up with the National Association of Letter Carriers for the STAMP OUT HUNGER Food Drive. Let’s come together to make a huge impact for our neighbors!

Here’s how you can help:
🛒Pick up a few extra non-perishable items during your mid-week grocery run. (See our most-needed items below.)
🛍️Place your donations in a sturdy bag (or two!)
📭Leave the bag by your mailbox on Saturday morning…rain or shine! Your letter carrier will pick them up and deliver to the Food Pantry.

Our Current Most-Needed Items:
👉Chunk light tuna in water
👉Ranch dressing
👉Garlic powder
👉Non-bleach all purpose cleaners
👉Toothpaste
👉Women's sanitary products

Reminder: Next Saturday, May 9th is the National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

Simply leave your donation of non-perishable food in a bag near your mailbox next Saturday morning, and your letter carrier will do the rest.
