We'll be stocking the freezers with "make your own" açaí bowls for our teachers and staff to enjoy before they host their Back to School Nights!

Our high school teachers can make their own bowl on 9/18, and middle school teachers on 9/25.

North Reading has lost an incredible teacher and friend, Mrs. Christy Gorman. We are sending our thoughts and prayers as she is remembered with love by her family and our community.💚

The Hood PA joins the whole school community in grieving the loss of one of our most beloved teachers, Mrs. Christy Gorman. She was a bright light in the lives of so many, not only because of her brilliance as an educator but also because of her ability to connect with students and families. If you were lucky enough to have Mrs. Gorman as a teacher, she was part of your life and heart forever.

To Mrs. Gorman – you are so very loved by this community, and to say you will be missed is a tremendous understatement. Thank you for the impact you had on so many of us.

To the family and loved ones of Mrs. Gorman – we are with you, and we send all our love and positive thoughts.

👕Community Cares Closet👚

The NRHS Student Council has received a grant from the National Association of Secondary School Principals to establish a Community Cares Closet, serving students at both NRHS and NRMS.

The Community Cares Closet will provide free clothing and toiletries to students facing immediate needs, fostering a sense of confidence, belonging, and positive self-worth.

While grant funds will cover many initial supplies, we are seeking donations of new or gently used clothing suitable for middle and high school students. If you are decluttering, please consider contributing to this valuable initiative. Donations can be dropped off at NRHS Room 107 until May 2nd.

In addition, our Student Council, in partnership with the EmpowerGen Foundation, is collecting prom dress donations for students in need. If you have any prom dresses you'd like to donate, we'd be thrilled to accept them.
