We work hard to provide, plan for the future, and make sure there's enough left at the end of the month. But somewhere along the way, it's easy to put God at the end of the equation instead of the beginning.

What if the answer isn't working harder, but putting things in the RIGHT order?

Jesus invites us to live differently. To trust Him with our first, not just our leftovers. To remember that everything we have belongs to Him, and stewardship begins with surrender. It's not about a formula for financial success. It's about who holds first place in our lives. Discover what it means to put God first in every area of your life, including your finances.

Groceries cost more.
Rent feels heavier.
The numbers don’t stretch the way they used to.
And for a lot of people, finances aren’t just something you think about once a month, they’re sitting in the back of your mind all day long.

What gets paid first?
What can wait?
What happens if one more unexpected thing comes up?

Jesus spoke into a world full of those same pressures, and He offered a different way to live.

A Kingdom that isn’t built on fear, scarcity, comparison, or the constant pressure to have more.

God’s Kingdom is Right Side Up

At Homecoming, we made a commitment: to be planted in the house of the Lord.

And being planted means more than being present.

It means we notice.
We care.
We take responsibility.
We allow compassion to move us to action.

Because when this is our house, the needs of the house become personal. The people matter to us. The mission matters to us. And we don’t just watch what God is building—we put our hands to it.

This Sunday, we’re remembering the commitment we made.

Homecoming was more than a moment. It was an invitation to get planted.

Psalm 92 says that those who are planted in the house of the Lord will flourish — that they will keep bearing fruit for years to come.

That kind of life doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when we choose community, put down roots, and make room for God to grow something in us that can outlive us.

If Homecoming felt like a first step, take the next one.

More money.

Nothing but Jesus.

A huge shoutout and heartfelt thank you to the incredible volunteer team from All People who came out to serve with us back in August! With smiles on their faces, these volunteers assembled over 35 back-to-school backpacks and organized our gift room's teen essentials corner for the very first time.
