The North Reading Diamond Club hosted its 10th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, August 15th, welcoming approximately 143 golfers. ⛳️ 🏌️ 🏌️‍♀️ 🏌️‍♂️

Held at the Hillview Country Club the tournament was followed by a celebration at the Moose Hall, featuring a delicious lunch provided by Orzo Trattoria, along with raffles, live auctions, and recognition awards. 🍽️ 🎟️ 🏅

Special honors were presented to Tim Haynes and Greg Quercia for their long-standing dedication.

Congratulations were also extended to North Reading High School baseball coach Eric Archambault and his team for winning the 2025 State Championship-a proud moment for the entire town! ⚾️ 🏆

The standout moment came from high school athlete Brady Cullen, whose heartfelt speech highlighted the profound impact of community support. 💗

Couple quick announcements to share with the group.

As part of the NRDC's fundraising efforts at this year's annual golf tournament, the NRDC has made the decision to donate the proceeds from our live auction to Brady Cullen's GoFundMe campaign. Just wanted to resend below links to the background story and Brady's GoFundMe landing page.

Additional Tournament Updates:
- We’re still looking for donations and raffle items in case any Alumni have items they’d like to donate.

- Thursday August 14th, the NRDC will be having an informal get together at Kitty’s starting at 6:00 PM for those who are interested.

- There’s still some golfers available in the field for tourney day, so please let us know ASAP if you’re still interested in golfing.

Also, thanks to our dedicated alumni's generosity over the years, it was recently learned that Carey Park at NRHS was awarded the District 1 (New England + New York) High School Baseball Field of the Year for 2025. More details to come in the NR Transcript but we wanted to share for the out of town folks. Amazing recognition!

It's that time of the year. 10 years...where has the time gone!!
Registration is filling up nicely and still have some foursomes available.
We have some changes this year with a new food provider, Orzo's of North Andover. We are proud to them on board and looking forward to many years of partnership.

The Diamond Club Golf Tournament continues to thrive with the support of our generous sponsors, the commitment of our volunteers, and the passion of nearly 150 golfers! Together, we celebrated another successful year with a beautiful round of golf at Hillview Country Club and a banquet at the Moose Hall. We paid tribute to the remarkable accomplishments of the 1974 NRHS, All-Division, Mass. State Champions and expressed our heartfelt gratitude to all contributors. We take pride in knowing that every dollar raised will help shape the future of North Reading baseball in our community!
