CHAMPION HIGHLIGHT: Connor’s Kindness Project ✨

Here’s a highlight from Connor’s speech at the Capes for A Cause Gala, where he shares a VERY special milestone for the project. (25k+ kits delivered!)🤩

Connor Wright, alongside his grandmother Sharon Maramma, started Connor’s Kindness as a community project to help children during the Covid-19 pandemic. 🤝

Since then, it’s evolved into an effort to improve the well-being of children dealing with a serious medical issue, mental health condition, unfortunate family crisis, or a homeless or poverty situation with its Kindness Kit distribution program. ❤️

The organization also has a Kindness Club program, which focuses on encouraging kindness amongst elementary school-age children as a way to promote community and inclusiveness. 😊

We are so proud to walk alongside Connor’s Kindness as one of our champions. 💙

🎃 Halloween Costume Drive
This Halloween, EmpowerGen Foundation is making sure the children at Capernaum Place and Casa Bethesda get to experience the joy of dressing up, imagining, and celebrating.
We’ve created an Amazon Wish List filled with costumes the kids personally chose. And if purchasing a costume isn’t in your budget, you can still help — we’ve included Amazon gift cards in various amounts. Every dollar helps us fill in the gaps and ensures no child is left without a costume.

Please keep an eye on delivery dates — we’re hoping to have all costumes arrive by October 15 so the kids can participate in all their community events.
And don’t forget to ship directly to the Marcy Furse Lawrence MA Gift Registry so everything arrives in one place for distribution.
