Adopted as a kitten from a shelter 15 years ago, Cali and her mom have had a magical life together. There for each other over the years, they have gotten to know each other’s wants and needs. Mom always knows when Cali’s cuddle or dinner time is near without ever a word being said. When Cali had abruptly stopped eating and drinking recently, Mom quickly knew her Cali needed an immediate vet visit. Great vet care and tests revealed that Cali had a urinary tract infection. Quickly put on meds, no longer in discomfort, Cali is back to her special ways, and her mom couldn’t be more relieved and pleased.

Six year old Livi was and is a gift that has kept on giving since entering her mom’s life four years ago. So full of energy and play, Livi has helped to get her mom up and about to seize their days together. Wanting only what was best for her Livi, Mom recently arranged a day for Livi to have a special field trip to address her dental needs. An important visit it was, as Livi left the vet with 12 less teeth but no less love for a mom who so values her presence in her life.

What a life 13 year old Brooklyn has led since coming into her mom’s world 11 years ago! Both have had each other as a great source of comfort and support over the years, enabling them to be both happier and healthier because of it. Brooklyn is “the love of her mom’s life,” and being there for her in every way has been her first priority. An important dental checkup was made on her behalf recently, where Brooklyn required a few extractions. Knowing of her mom’s love and concern for Brooklyn's well being over the years, it goes without saying that Brooklyn’s recovery was a speedy one.

Life and love has been the best for Naomi, since coming into her dad’s world as a pup seven years ago. It’s been a two-way street, as their life together has kept them both in pretty good shape. Up and about to seize each day, they so enjoy the pleasure of each other’s company. An interruption to their daily routine occurred a short while ago when her loving dad found two tumors on one of Naomi’s paws. An immediate vet visit was made to address the issue, and with expert, costly vet surgery and care, both Naomi and her special dad are best of pals once again.

Their lives together were meant to be. Handsome, three year old Chi captured his mom’s heart when up for adoption one year ago and has never let go. Their very first separation occurred just a few weeks ago, when Mom’s Chi became ill and dangerously dehydrated. A prompt vet visit revealed that Chi required foreign object surgery to make both lives whole again. Surgery went well, and his very special mom is, “so grateful to have him home recovering and being himself once again.” Chi’s mom also requests to, “Cherish every moment with your fur children, as stuff like this can happen with very little warning.”

Sweet, eight year old Jersey came into her new mom’s life as a surrender five months ago. So touched by Jersey’s presence, her new mom was determined to make Jersey’s life whole again. Wanting to give her the best of all lives, she made immediate arrangements for Jersey’s physical needs to be met. An important vet visit followed for not only Jersey’s dental needs, but for important eyelid surgery as well. What an awesome moment to have luck, love and compassion come together just in time to give Jersey a new beginning and a second chance at life.
