A-Wear-Ness, Inc. A-Wear-Ness, Inc. hosted our 4th annual Christmas event and the community came together like never before! Over 800 presents wrapped, delivered, and distributed throughout our amazing community. Thank you Rhode Island for letting us serve you once again. The smile on these little faces is the reason we do what we do. A special thank you to TD Bank, Social Enterprise Greenhouse, our wonderful neighbors at BRIARWOOD MEADOWS RESIDENTS (BWMRESIDENTS), and our community partners Providence Department of Recreation and Liga Guatemalteca de futbol de Rhode Island Mia Sinapi and most importantly the woman behind all the magic Cece Tiah. Project: #6 A-Wear-Ness, Inc., with the help of some incredible Project Goal RI alums (Servi Barrientos Miguel A. Lara Michael B**g Alex ZeanSoe Kamusu Zean Jack Tiah Benjamin Dahn Ghanyea Wilfred Kerbay), -Wear-Ness, Inc. hosted its first ever KICK IT FOR Project GOAL 5v5 tournament. The event combined the love for soccer and high level competition with the love for a local non profit that has and continues to do great things for inner city kids in Rhode Island. GOAL was co founded by Darius Shirzadi. The program provides free educational support and soccer training/equipment for younger students in the Providence/Central Falls area. With our collective efforts we were able to raise and donate $1,200 to this phenomenal program. The alums, A-Wear-Ness, Inc., are blessed to have been part of such an event and look forward to more collaborations in the near future.
