A huge congratulations and thank you to Team MARE for finishing strong at the Falmouth Road Race! This dedicated group of runners, all with a unique connection to adoption and foster care, trained hard, fundraised, and helped raise awareness for MARE’s mission.

This was the second year MARE participated as an official Charity Team, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors and supporters, the team raised critical funds that will directly support our work with connecting youth in foster care with permanent, loving families.

We are deeply grateful to the Falmouth Road Race for welcoming us as a Charity Team and to every single person who shared our mission and cheered us on.

Programs like Weekend Family Connections (WFC) are a vital part of our work to find permanency and connection for every child in Massachusetts waiting in foster care. Since WFC started in 2021, the impact the program has had for youth living in residential care has only grown. Dozens of connections have been made, and over 50 youth have been served.

One weekend at a time, connections are built, and lives are changed forever.

Your support helps make these connections possible. Learn more and support MARE’s work today.
