Last week, Metro West CD staff spent the afternoon at the Natick Community Senior Center for the annual Wellness & Resource Fair. We are always grateful for the opportunity to meet with community members, share our resources, and connect with the incredible organizations who work hard every day to make positive changes in Natick and beyond.

We are already looking forward to doing it again next year!

Once again, Metro West CD is honored Co-Sponsor CHAPA’s Annual Regional Meeting in MetroWest, and you’re invited! Please join us on Friday, October 23rd, 2026 from 10am to 12pm at the 495/MetroWest Partnership office in Westborough.

Each year, Citizens' Housing and Planning Association, Inc. CHAPA convenes stakeholders from across the housing ecosystem to learn directly from those doing the work on the ground. This meeting is free and open to anyone interested - no previous housing experience necessary! CHAPA staff will share a brief presentation about their work, and then we’ll engage in conversation with you about your community’s housing needs and opportunities, and where CHAPA should prioritize their advocacy in the coming year.

The West Newton Armory lottery closes this Friday, September 18th. Be sure to get your applications in before the deadline!

Last week, our St. Joseph’s Hall residents came out in full force to celebrate the summer and show off their grilling skills! With good food and even better company, Metro West CD employees, Maloney staff, and St. Joe’s residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon together in the sun.

As one of Metro West CD’s first properties, St. Joseph’s Hall holds a special place in our organization’s history. It is always a blast to get together with residents, some who have been with us since St. Joseph Hall’s major 2013 renovation, to laugh, chat, and connect. We wish everyone a fantastic rest of the summer!

St. Joseph Hall provides senior renters with 25 apartments, all of which are affordable to households earning up 30%, 50% and 60% of Area Median Income.
