Last week, our St. Joseph’s Hall residents came out in full force to celebrate the summer and show off their grilling skills! With good food and even better company, Metro West CD employees, Maloney staff, and St. Joe’s residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon together in the sun.

As one of Metro West CD’s first properties, St. Joseph’s Hall holds a special place in our organization’s history. It is always a blast to get together with residents, some who have been with us since St. Joseph Hall’s major 2013 renovation, to laugh, chat, and connect. We wish everyone a fantastic rest of the summer!

St. Joseph Hall provides senior renters with 25 apartments, all of which are affordable to households earning up 30%, 50% and 60% of Area Median Income.

Our Packard Street Commons residents had a blast last week at their summer BBQ! Staff and residents got together to celebrate the summer with delicious food, good weather, and some truly awesome face-painting. Thank you to the Packard Street Commons management team for putting on a stellar event, we are already looking forward to doing it again next year!

Before it became Packard Street Commons, 62 Packard Street was home to the Hudson Police Department. Having members of Hudson PD's Community Action Team and Community Service Officers join us for an evening of fun was a wonderful, full circle moment. Thank you to Hudson PD (and especially everyone’s favorite K-9, Magnus) for celebrating with us!

Packard Street Commons provides renters of all ages with 40 apartments, all of which are affordable to households earning up 30% and 60% of Area Median Income. It was completed in 2025 through close collaboration with the Town of Hudson.

Wednesday, Metro West CD staff and Board members joined hundreds of other community development professionals at the State House to support the Massachusetts Association of CDCs (MACDC) Annual Lobby Day.

A big thank you to the Representatives' and Senators' offices who met with us to learn more about our priorities and the work we do each day across the Metro West region : President Karen Spilka, Senator Jamie Eldridge, Robyn Kennedy, Senator Becca Rausch, Arena-DeRosa, David Linsky, Sena
