MEET THE TEAM! 🫐🍓

Grace Chasanoff, Farm and Garden Coordinator, originally from Connecticut, has been in a farm setting since she was just 10 years old. She studied Animal Science and Sustainable Agriculture in her undergrad years at the University of Rhode Island. Now post-grad, she has been able to implement her studies and lifelong experiences at Island Community Farm and various ACT community gardens. In her free time she enjoys the beach, reading historical fiction and southern gothic novels, and cooking up a storm!

Bella Quiroa, our Embolden Environmental Intern was born and raised in Newport and has always loved being involved in the community. In more recent years she has fallen in love with environmental-based work. She enjoys getting involved in community events and initiatives and is so excited to explore all that the wonderful ACT community has to offer! She spends her free time outside, reading, doing puzzles, scrapbooking, photography, playing violin and watching movies.
