We have artists on our hands 🎨🖌

Yesterday, our seniors at Lunch & Learn enjoyed painting ceramic bowls with Jamestown Arts Center. Their work will be on display at the Jamestown Arts Center 2027 Exhibition from January to March, and then the bowls will be donated to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank Empty Bowls Fundraiser. What a fun afternoon!

🎨 We are getting creative at Senior Lunch & Learn this week! 🎨

This Wednesday, October 28, from noon to 1:00 p.m., our friends from the Jamestown Arts Center will lead us through an art project: painting ceramic bowls in support of the Empty Bowls fundraiser. 👩‍🎨👨‍🎨

This fundraiser will support the Rhode Island Community Food Bank in the spring of 2026. We are grateful to receive 41% of the food we receive from RICFB and to the Jamestown Arts Center for giving us the opportunity to participate in this project. 💫

Volunteers from REMAX Results of Rhode Island did some heavy lifting for us in our Pantry! They unloaded heavy boxes, organized them, and stocked our shelves with food.💪

We couldn't help over 9,000 people and distribute over 1.8 million meals without the help of our volunteers. 🫶
