📚📪This week, Miss Jenny's State PreK class Countryside Children's Center in Portsmouth, RI, had a special guest. Julie Kaull, a registered dietitian with Visiting Nurse, came to read the Imagination Library book "Just Try One Bite" written by Adam Mansbach and Camila Alves McConaughey, illustrated by Mike Boldt.
The children enjoyed the rhyming words and identifying the different types of foods that even the adults in the story wouldn't eat!
After reading, the class assembled a healthy snack: yogurt parfaits with Greek yogurt, granola, blueberries, and bananas. It was the perfect way to celebrate the end of their Exercise Unit.

Congratulations to Hudson. This week his mom visited Jenny Armor Williams Pre-k classroom at Countryside Children's Center in Portsmouth as a guest reader. She selected a special book to share with Hudson’s friends.

At Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, all children age out of our program during the month of their fifth birthday and receive this last book, titled “Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come!”
