To empower urban communities through education, workshops and training in order to cultivate community leaders; that will help to increase cultural pride, strive for health, educational and economic equity and build a thriving African American Community in Newport County. Our Vision
Since it’s inception, Sankofa Community Connection has inspired a change for the better in the community and is often sought out for its expertise in culturally relevant programming and educational materials by community members, schools and various organizations.
