RIPTA ROUTE 68 MAY BE CANCELLED PLEASE VOICE YOUR OPINION>

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) announced yesterday, 7/24, that the following counties are slated for some proposed reductions in services due to budget cuts.
Those that will be impacted are:
Barrington, Providence, Woonsocket, West Warwick, Warwick, Pawtucket, Newport, and South Kingstown.
For Newport that will be Route 68, which is for the Aquidneck Corporate Park, CCRI Newport, Miantonomi Park, First Beach, Bellevue and Memorial Blvd, Newport Transportation Center, and Bayside Village.
RIPTA will be holding a public hearing on Tuesday, July 29th at the Newport CCRI Auditorium - One John H. Chafee Blvd from 12-1:30PM and 5-6:30PM.
