We hosted our April Colorful Connection session at Wellesley Free Library, where we explored The Great Wave off Kanagawa and got inspired by ukiyo-e. With a simple foam printing activity, everyone got to play with textures and create their own wave designs.

iCan Fly participated in the Advancing Autism Awareness Forum held at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on April 4–5, 2026. Initiated by Dr. Xuejun Kong, the forum brought together experts, scholars, and nonprofit organizations to explore medical, educational, and social support for the autism community.

Our team joined discussions, shared perspectives, and connected with others working toward greater understanding and inclusion.

We’re grateful to be part of this ongoing effort and to contribute to a more supportive community.

Our Sensory-Friendly Night with Boston Symphony Orchestra!

Music has the power to touch every heart, and last month, we witnessed its magic in the most inclusive way.

A huge thank you to our partner, Rodman For Kids, for inviting iCan Fly to the Boston Symphony Orchestra's special sensory-friendly concert for children with special needs and their families.

The evening was beautifully crafted for comfort and engagement:
🎵 The hall lights were gently dimmed.
🎵 The program was carefully curated to be soothing and captivating.
🎵 The wonderful conductor Thomas Wilkins introduced instruments and styles with humor, making the music accessible and fun for all.

True to their commitment, BSO included thoughtful details throughout, such as a dedicated “Quiet Zone” outside the hall for breaks and simple, engaging craft activities to support a sensory cooldown.

Best of all, thanks to 64 tickets provided through our partnership, we were able to offer a "first-come, first-served" opportunity for dozens of our families to experience this world-class performance free of charge.

This was more than a concert; it was a powerful reminder that with a little understanding and adaptation, the arts can and should be enjoyed by everyone. We're proud to help create these moments of connection, joy, and pure musical delight.

We’re grateful to be able to bring more of these meaningful experiences to our community.

We had such a fun time at our recent Family Social Event!

Our “Let’s K-Pop” dance session, led by Fefe, got the kids moving and trying out new moves (some shy at first, but they warmed up quickly!). Big thanks to our volunteers for cheering everyone on.

After dancing, we switched gears to a quieter Easter origami activity. The kids folded their own 3D bunnies — lots of focus, a few funny moments, and some very creative results.

At the same time, parents joined a talk on advocacy led by Faith Dantowitz, who shared her experience and insights.

Thank you to everyone who came — we loved seeing both familiar and new faces.

We’re building a community that’s open and welcoming to all families. While many of our current families are from Asian backgrounds, we’d love to see more families from different cultures join us!

If you’re looking for a place where kids can try new things and feel supported, come join us next time.

We’re also happy to connect with schools and community organizations for future collaborations.

Follow us to stay updated, we’d love to see you at our next event.

💙❄️This is iCan Fly’s second year partnering with New England Healing Sports Association (NEHSA) to bring adaptive skiing to our children and families.

During the 2025–2026 season, we shared four wonderful days on the slopes in December and January, creating joyful memories together over winter break and the MLK Day long weekend.

We are incredibly grateful to NEHSA for their dedication, compassion, and unwavering support. Their amazing instructors and volunteers create a truly inclusive space where our kids feel safe, confident, and empowered.

Thank you, NEHSA, for helping our children experience freedom, confidence, and joy on the snow. 💙⛷️
