Huge thank you to the generous family who hosted a yard sale and donated 100% of the proceeds to support us and our mission. We are so appreciative of your support!

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Prospect Hill Antiques and Home for organizing and coordinating this event, and to Salt Hill Pub Shanty for generously providing the tent. We are so incredibly grateful to these two families for all they do for our community and for believing in and supporting our mission.

We are so excited that our third Summer Meal Bag Program has officially begun! Thank you to everyone who continues to support our mission and help us serve local children and families throughout the summer.

One of the best parts of what we do is connecting wonderful people, meaningful causes, and incredible community resources.

This weekend, we had the privilege of helping a dear customer organize a yard sale with one very special goal: 100% of every dollar raised was donated to Mary's Food For Thought.

Of course, Mother Nature had other plans. After days of rain, it became clear that the sale simply wouldn't happen without a very big tent. Without hesitation, our friends—the Tuohy family from Salt Hill Pub Shanty—stepped in and generously donated the use of their event tent, making the entire fundraiser possible.

When neighbors come together to help one another, amazing things happen. We are incredibly grateful to be part of a community that continually shows up with kindness, generosity, and heart.

The first meal bags of Summer 2026 will go out this week! We were busy bag packing, organizing, and shopping last night.
Tacos, fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, cheese, eggs, and snacks will be distributed to local families this week.

Stocking up for the start of our summer food bags! Local kids will enjoy these snacks in addition to fresh protein, fruits, vegetables, and staples like milk, bread, cheese, and more.

Thank you to Sunapee Middle High School for providing a storage room for us - we were finally able to move out of the Claus garage for the summer!

We are excited to start distributing this food (and much more) to families in the community!

Mary’s Food for Thought is now officially a nonprofit organization recognized by the State of New Hampshire!
This exciting milestone allows us to expand beyond Sunapee and serve even more families throughout our region. We’re grateful to Project Sunapee for helping us launch and begin making an impact in our community.
We are also excited to announce the launch of our new website! Visit Marysfft.org to check out what we’ve been building!

Wrapping up another incredible year of Mary’s Food For Thought!
We are so grateful to everyone who makes our mission of reducing food insecurity for vulnerable children and families possible.
Throughout 2025, we provided weekly food bags over the summer and expanded the amount of food delivered each week thanks to our donors’ generosity. During the school year, we continued monthly food donations, food bags before school breaks, and in-school programs like snack milk and healthy snacks, ensuring no child goes hungry and easing the burden on teachers.
These initiatives are continuing into 2026, and we’re excited for what’s ahead. Thank you to our donors, volunteers, and board members for your continued time, generosity, and support.
