Prayers still needed for little Romeo. Trying to fight fever from aspiration pneumonia and he needs to p*e to help us know his kidneys are working with all the antibiotics. Vet is providing excellent care. It is getting expensive with barn visits and running tests but this rescue from Florida deserves the best. Please help us cover the costs of his care. Anything is very appreciated.

Romeo gets another vet visit for a check up, IV Fluids and antibiotic. Fever is dropping. Blood work taken. Tomorrow AM vet will return and the hope is fever has resolved or we will discuss hospitalization. Join Thursday May 21. Starts at 1PM.

The Donkey Perspective is a self-guided creative experience at Bucko’s Barn in Newbury, MA designed for adults who want dedicated time to observe, reflect, and make something outside of the usual routine.
Participants are invited to bring their preferred creative practice — writing, drawing, painting, photography, or simple observation — and spend time alongside rescued donkeys in an open-air barn setting shaped by curiosity, attention, and independent exploration.
Sessions are intentionally small (up to 15 participants) to preserve the atmosphere of the experience.
$30 per session
Limited pay-what-you-can spots available
