ITEMS WE ACCEPT FOR REUSE:

*Clean and dry, new and used clothes, shoes and sneakers in all sizes, fabrics, seasons and styles for men, women, and children.

Forget Me Not Families, founded in 2012 is a volunteer-run 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization helping families in-need and the addiction and homeless communities in Delaware at no cost to them through it's "Clothing Collection for Reuse Program". (No mildewed, paint-stained, or wet items.) Handheld electronics, bookbags, suitcases,
purses,

*Small household items such as:

Pots, pans, plates, small countertop kitchen appliances, all kitchenware, gassware, utensils,
microwaves, small home decorations. Curtains, bedsheets, comforters, pillow cases, area rugs.

*Babies and Children's Items such as:

Unassembled cribs and small furniture, strollers, unexpired carseats, bouncers, indoors activity toys, bassinets, highchairs, all hard and soft toys, books, small handheld electronics, etc. WE DO NOT ACCEPT LARGE FURNITURE, BIG HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES, USED PILLOWS, MATTRESSES, COUCHES, KIDS YARD TOYS, ETC. Free shopping at FMNF Community Closet for those in-need on Friday, October 16th. Each household is allowed to shop once monthly.

This is an appointment only event. To request an appointment go to our website at wwww.forgetmenotfamiliesde.com and full out the "request for an appointment" form. A team member will reply via email with a time for you to come and shop.

If you submitted request earlier this week, we will reply via email by Wednesday.

Last day to send in request for this event is Tuesday, October 13th. We will reply on Wednesday, 14th.

Last week was a very busy and meaningful one at Forget Me Not Family Community Closet! 💙

On Thursday, October 1st, we welcomed Madison Ramirez, a Case Worker with Wraparound Delaware, to our community closet. Madison visited to shop for some of her clients, and we were grateful for the opportunity to support the families she serves.

Then, on Saturday, October 3rd, more than 50 families from across Delaware came to shop at the Closet. Many of them were first-time visitors!

Families left with bags filled with essential items, including clothing, shoes and sneakers, blankets, bedding, underwear, socks, toys, winter jackets and coats, cleaning supplies, diapers, wipes, and so much more. ❤️

None of this would be possible without the incredible support of our community partners, donors, and everyone who continues to believe in our mission.

Because of you, we are able to meet families where they are, provide essential items, and make a meaningful difference in communities across Delaware.

Thank you for helping us continue to make a difference—one family at a time! 💙

2. One (1) medium size shopping bag of items per household.
3. Shop for your own household.
4. Leave children with a responsible individual.
5. For those who are driving, PARK ON SIDE OF ROAD.
6. Do not come before your scheduled time.

*All items shared are for your personal use. Anyone caught selling these items, will not be allowed to participate in any future events.
*All event (s) hosted by Forget Me Not Families are photograph and can be used for advertising and promotions purposes. If you do not want your photo taken, let us know upon arrival. We do not assume any liability.

Attention: Please do not leave furniture of any kind in our shed at our facility.

We have several signs inside and outside of our shed letting people know
that we do not accept furniture of any kind.

We have no use for these and it is very costly to get raid of unwanted/not needed items.

If you are not sure what items we accept/need, go to our website www.forgetmenotfamiliesde.com. We have a list of acceptable/needed items. You can also call, text or email us.
