Registration for OrigamiUSA Convention 2026 is now open - that includes registering to exhibit and teach a class.

The incredible origami exhibit is a highlight of every Convention - with folders displaying their new creations from the year. The exhibit features the work of folders from around the US and the world, with a range of origami types and complexity levels. The exhibit will also include the 2026 Origami by Children winners.

Convention registration is now open - and so are pre-orders for our annual diagram book, The Origami Collection.

The cover features the Classic UFO by John Szinger, who is a Special Guest at this year's Convention! 👽👽👽

This simple modular ring is suitable for folding with your favorite duo papers.

Mahyar lives in Tehran and has been creating and diagramming a series he calls “Origami at War". The new designs are named for friends, family and mentors to honor their influence and resilience or a shared memory.

In the spirit of Grogu hitting the red carpet this week, here's an amazing Yoda folded by Hugo Immanuel Yijia van der Molen, Age 10 from Yunnan, China - featured in Origami by Children 2026. Design by Fumiaki Kawahata. 💫💫💫

Started in 1978, Origami By Children provides an inspiration for children of all ages to explore their own creative potential as well as to enjoy the creativity of other children from around the world.

Every year children are invited to submit their best folded models; either their own creations or the designs of others. The finest of these are selected to become the Origami By Children exhibit for that year. The exhibit is available to travel in the continental US.
