The Administration for Children's Services and the child welfare system were not designed with domestic violence in mind.

Survivors face being investigated as perpetrators. Abusers can weaponize false reports. The investigative process can replicate dynamics of surveillance and control that survivors are already experiencing from their abusers. And the fear of losing their children can keep many survivors from seeking help at all — a fear that falls hardest on marginalized communities.

If you are a survivor, or you work with survivors of gender violence who have been investigated by the ACS, join us for a Know-Your-Rights webinar on the ACS investigation process in NYC.
