10 Years. Countless Lives Impacted. 💙 Active Plus returned to Grimsley High School to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the NC Scholars Program a full circle moment rooted in legacy, community, and giving back. This year, we awarded scholarships to two outstanding student-athletes who embody excellence, leadership, and resilience. What an incredible day at the Spartan Kids Race! 💪🏽🔥

Active Plus brought 102 students ages 4–13 to take on the course at Citi Field, home of the New York Mets. With the support of 20 amazing adult volunteers, our students showed teamwork, courage, and determination as they pushed themselves through every obstacle.

We chartered three buses from the Bronx to make sure our students could be part of this unforgettable experience, and they showed up ready to challenge themselves and cheer each other on every step of the way.

Every adult runner makes a direct impact by sponsoring a student’s race day experience. Your participation helps provide transportation, race entry, shirts, and refreshments — creating an opportunity a young person might not otherwise have.
