🚇 New York’s congestion pricing experience is already offering lessons for cities across the country.
One year after launching the nation’s first cordon-based congestion pricing program, NYC saw fewer vehicles entering the Congestion Relief Zone, increased transit ridership, and reductions in traffic injuries.

Last Monday, TSTC’s Renae joined transportation leaders to reflect on the advocacy, challenges, and coalition-building that helped bring congestion pricing to New York—and what other cities can learn as they consider their own approaches to reducing congestion and creating more sustainable transportation systems.

The work doesn’t stop when a policy is adopted. The next challenge is turning lessons into action.

We're teaming up with Future Roots for Trenton and the Trenton Green Team this Thursday to clean up the D&R Canal Trail, part of the Circuit Trails network. 🌿

Join us at 4PM at the Trenton Battle Monument to help care for this integral community space, then stick around for free tacos and a picnic! 🌮
