For the second year, Capgemini partnered with W!se to bring the Tech4 Positive Futures Challenge to NYC. This spring, 43 students from Urban Assembly Gateway School for Technology worked in teams to develop technology-driven business solutions supporting biodiversity and accessibility for people with disabilities.

Thank you to everyone from , , , , and , and W!se’s own EGE experts, who helped students turn bold ideas into compelling pitches presented at Societe Generale on April 28.

Congratulations to this year’s winning teams:

🥇 Accessibility Centrality – recognized for their platform improving access to essential services for people with disabilities

🥈 EddySorts – a machine using electromagnetism to sort shredded e-waste and recover non-ferrous metals including aluminum, copper, silver, and gold

🥉 L.A.R.M. – PathGuard, a wearable device using IR sensors and vibration feedback to help people with visual impairments and wheelchair users navigate safely

We’re proud to celebrate these students for using technology to create positive futures and real-world solutions for their communities.
