The Caribbean American Medical & Scientific Association (camsa), Inc. is thrilled to announce the opening of their 2026 Scholarship Program.

Applicants can apply for the 2026 CAMSA Scholarship by:-

Barbados Cancer Association USA (BACA), Inc. is pleased to announce its 2026 Diana Cadogan Scholarship Program to support Barbadian undergraduate students living in New York, New Jersey Connecticut and Barbados pursuing careers in the health sciences.

There will be two (2) Scholarship Awards for 2026 in the amounts of $3,000 and $2,000.

Barbados is loved for its beaches, people, and attractions but did you know we also invented a sport? Road tennis, a scaled down version of lawn tennis, was pioneered in the 1930s by Barbadian Lance Bynoe.

Originally known as ‘poor man’s tennis’ because it was played on the road, and open to everyone regardless of race or social status, road tennis courts are still active in several neighbourhoods. Tournaments are also held throughout the year.
