Wow, what a powerful group! Thank you for giving back to our community this week. We distributed approximately 2,643 lbs of fresh produce, dairy and protein to our pantry guests!

School is right around the corner! Help us Fill-A-Backpack so children are able to start the new school year with the necessary supplies to succeed.

Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen is collecting donations (link below) to provide backpacks filled with school essentials to children in our community. We are also accepting donations of new (unused) school supplies every weekday from 9 am - 1 pm until September 15th!

Award-winning writer Ian Frazier is a familiar face at HASK. He created a long-running writers workshop that offered soup kitchen guests a creative outlet and community. Started in 1994, the group later published a collection of work titled Food for the Soul.

We look forward to seeing “Coyote vs. Acme,” the movie based on one of his newyorkermag humor pieces!

In 2025, our pantry distributed 91,969.29lbs of dairy! That means about 201,456 servings in one whole year! This year we are keeping the numbers strong and achieving to surpass it.

We could not have benefited more from having help our community! With their help, we were able to serve 140 households, distributing about 8,500 pounds of vegetables, dry goods, and proteins in just one morning shift. At Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen, we are always deeply thankful for our volunteers and community, who make giving back possible.

Care comes in many forms.

At Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen, our support goes beyond a warm meal and pantry items. Through our social services program, guests can access resources that help meet their everyday needs and support their well-being.

Today, we distributed 100+ self-care bags, each filled with essentials like toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and body wash. Having access to these everyday necessities can make a meaningful difference. If you or someone you know could benefit from items like these, please send them our way.
