League negotiations are here! Today, our bargaining committee of rank-and-file members and elected officers began negotiations with management on behalf of 86,000 members. Across hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics throughout NYC, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley, League members wore stickers to remind management that they are the heart of New York healthcare.🍎

Winning this fight is critical to protecting strong standards for good jobs and quality care for all.

May 17th is The International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT). The day is observed annually to raise awareness surrounding LGBTQIA+ rights worldwide and calls for the end of LGBTQIA+ discrimination.

The day was first observed in 2005 to commemorate the World Health Organization's 1990 decision to remove homosexuality from their list of mental disorders.
