Limmud FSU

Limmud FSU Limmud FSU is an Jewish organization for young adults with roots in the Former Soviet Union.

Limmud FSU engages young Russian-Jewish adults, empowering them to take ownership of their identity and to connect with their communities through pluralistic, egalitarian volunteer-driven conferences of Jewish learning and culture. In this way, Limmud FSU strives to foster the next generation of young Russian-speaking Jewish leadership and so revitalize Jewish communities in the countries of the former Soviet Union, and in countries with Russian-Jewish communities, wherever they may be.

Limmud FSU family mourns the loss of Mikhail Libkin, one of the core volunteers of Limmud FSU Moscow and a key figure from the very inception of Limmud FSU.

Misha was not just part of the beginning — he was part of the very foundation. As one of those who stood at the very start, he helped lay the base upon which the entire movement was built. His dedication, warmth, and unwavering commitment shaped a community and left a profound and lasting impact on Jewish life.

He will always remain an integral part of the Limmud FSU story and family.

We send our deepest condolences to his beautiful family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know and work with him.

His memory will forever be a blessing.
