We're hiring in New Jersey! 🌟 The All Stars Project is looking for a Development Officer to join our team and help build the relationships and resources that fuel opportunities for young people across New Jersey.

This is a great opportunity for a relationship-oriented professional who wants to grow in fundraising while making a meaningful impact. You'll work directly with donors and prospects, support fundraising campaigns and events, write foundation and corporate proposals, cultivate community partnerships and help advance ASP's $1.75 million annual fundraising goal.

At All Stars, we use the developmental power of performance to help young people from underserved communities build confidence, relationships and new possibilities for their lives. ASP of NJ has been creating opportunities in Newark, Jersey City and across New Jersey since 1999.

The 30th Annual Dallas Mayor’s Back to School Fair brought thousands of families and students to Fair Park for free school supplies, health screenings, educational resources, career opportunities and so much more - with 183 vendor booths across Centennial Hall and the Automobile Building. From school supplies and health services to live performances, a pop-up talent show, UniverSoul Circus, Ballet Folklórico, sports and development experiences, the Fair gave Dallas families a day filled with resources and connection.

The celebration opened with remarks from Mayor Eric L. Johnson, Dallas ISD Superintendent Dr. Stephanie S. Elizalde, All Stars Project Senior Vice President Antoine Joyce-Roach, and Junior League of Dallas President Lauren Combest, followed by remarks from Adrian Maese of Walmart, Robert Kent of Communities Foundation of Texas, and Margie J. Reese of the African American Museum.

The Fair was powered by the All Stars Project and Junior League of Dallas, in partnership with the City of Dallas and Mayor Johnson, with the support of 58 sponsors, including Title Sponsors Walmart and Sam’s Club.

Thirty years. Thousands of young people. One city showing up for its future. Thank you to every partner, sponsor, volunteer and community member who made this possible!

Exposure to new careers, professional workplaces and mentors who guide them along the way are all beneficial to young people’s futures.

In this inspiring conversation, Gilbert Gerst shares how his own journey, from his first job in rural North Texas to becoming a leader in the financial services industry, was shaped by the people who opened doors, offered guidance and helped him see a bigger future.

Thank you, Gilbert, and to every mentor, employer and community leader who continues to create opportunities for young people to learn, grow and thrive.
