The final notes of CCCMF's Tenth Anniversary Season have sounded, but they weren't in the concert hall - in fact, while our Season Finale Concert was held this past Sunday, it was only yesterday afternoon that we wrapped out the last of our over 30 outreach performances across the Greater New Orleans area this season 🙌

From retirement communities, hospitals, and senior care centers to music students at local schools and little tykes in preschools, CCCMF's Festival Artists have performed for people of all ages and walks of life across our wonderful city - the core of our mission in New Orleans since our founding ten years ago.

Stay tuned for a wrap up post with some of our favorite photos from this season later on this week, and thank you so much to all our supporters and audience members who made our CCCMF 2025 such a resounding success!

What a fantastic way to close out CCCMF's Tenth Anniversary Season! This year’s theme, "Novelty and Nostalgia," was certainly encapsulated in this concert as we featured new works by Seth Grosshandler and Chris Rogerson, and, just like we did for our inaugural season ten years ago, we ended with the brilliant Second Viola Quintet by Johannes Brahms, performed by the Escher String Quartet and Luke Fleming!

The concerts may be over, but the outreach continues - keep following our socials to see all the places we perform in the community, and stay tuned for what’s coming up!

Don’t miss out on your last chance to hear CCCMF’s 2025 season and the post-concert reception for a chance to chat and mingle with the artists!

Last night was an absolutely captivating evening of performances by Ensemble-in-Residence the Escher String Quartet! They started with a fabulous new work by Seth Grosshandler, continued with a classic Mozart quartet, and finished with Schubert’s stormy Death and the Maiden.

You’ll have another chance to hear this ensemble on Sunday, but our Free Public Concert No. 6 is TONIGHT at 7pm in Trinity Episcopal Church New Orleans. You won’t want to miss Stravinsky’s engaging Solider’s Tale, narrated by NOLA’s own Bryan Batt and CCCMF artists Luke Fleming and Abigail Monroe.

Our musicians had a busy day yesterday with outreaches all over the Greater New Orleans area in retirement homes and schools. Community engagement is a huge part of our mission at CCCMF, and we love visiting community centers and bringing music to those who may not have a chance to hear it otherwise, or engaging youths in local schools.

The outreach performances continue, and so do our concerts! Come out TONIGHT to Urban South Brewery 7pm to hear our Free Public Concert No. 4, and enjoy some great drinks while listening to us perform!
