Youth Justice Network A non-profit that supports and brings opportunity to youth during and after time in NYC jails.

Youth Justice Network was founded in 1990, at the alternative high school on Rikers Island, to address the disproportionate incarceration of young people of color and support them as they returned home. YJN’s mission is to break cycles of incarceration and build a more equitable justice system. For more than 30 years, YJN has supported young people whose lives intersect with NYC jails and justice systems by providing them with individualized advocacy, mentorship, and opportunities to grow, thrive, and lead.

Well done to our 32 CRED participants who just completed Principles of Property Management Certification, in collaboration with Neighborhood Housing Services of New York City.

All participants successfully complete the course. Through this certification, they gained foundational knowledge in property management, including tenant relations, property operations, maintenance coordination, fair housing practices, and regulatory compliance. As a result, they are better prepared to pursue opportunities in the property management field and apply these skills in managing residential properties effectively and professionally.
