What an inspiring week at DWDC. We attended the NY Women’s Fund Celebrating Women Breakfast and left energized by the testimonies, honorees, momentum, and connections in the room.

Our Executive Director Marielys Divanne was building meaningful connections, and it was special to have our Founder and former Executive Director with us as well. We shared a table with incredible nonprofits and created new relationships.

It’s a rising season at DWDC.

Qué semana tan inspiradora en DWDC. Estuvimos en el desayuno Celebrating Women del NY Women’s Fund y salimos llenas de inspiración por los testimonios, las homenajeadas, el impulso y las conexiones del evento.

Nuestra Directora Ejecutiva, Marielys Divanne, estuvo creando conexiones importantes, y fue muy especial contar también con nuestra fundadora y ex directora ejecutiva. Compartimos mesa con increíbles organizaciones y creamos nuevas relaciones.

Our team works with passion and heart for women and families every day from supporting mothers, to helping survivors of domestic violence, to empowering women toward financial independence and growth. We are there through the journey.⏭️⏭️Nuestro equipo trabaja cada día con passion y compromiso por las mujeres y familias desde apoyar a madres, hasta acompañar a sobrevivientes de violencia doméstica y empoderar a mujeres hacia la independencia y el crecimiento financiero. Estamos presentes en cada etapa del camino.

She was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree (Doctorado Honorífico) in Veracruz, Mexico by the Universidad del Instituto Socrático Americano, Latinex, and La Revista Prestigio, in recognition of her 45 years of community activism and unwavering commitment to uplifting our communities.
