The Mission of The B.A.S.A.R Foundation is to bring a concise solution to the systematic problems that affect the women, children and elderly in our community. One of the core vision of B.A.S.A.R is to initiate men of all ages in taking a serious stand against r**e. This will begin a process of eradicating the problem from its very inception. Another one of B.A.S.A.R goals is to begin educating me
n on their responsibilities to the women of their family as well as the their responsibilities to women in their communities. We do this with the use of programs and content. The programs provided by B.A.S.A.R are designed to combat anti social behavior and promote pro social behavior in our community. B.A.S.A.R Foundation also creates content and programs that initiate understanding. As men we have an obligation not only to the women in our immediate family but also to the women in our community. B.A.S.A.R’s fundamental function was the creation of mentoring classes, which teach a variation of coping skills (which are the nucleus to improving mental health). This has had a positive effect for the young men and women in the community. Many of the B.A.S.A.R Graduates have gone on to be successful, young men and women. Our young adults today are in need of an authentic identity. It is because of a lack of self-love and respect that causes much of the belligerent behavior we see in children today. The B.A.S.A.R Network has been proven to boost self esteem, therefore reducing tendencies that are insalubrious to the individual, as well as their, family and community. B.A.S.A.R classes are designed to deal with gang influence, peer pressure, self identification, and community relationships are just a few of the many programs provided. Our programs properly implemented have been proven to save the youth. Created in 2009, the vision of the organizations founder has been to promote safe communities through identification of the main source of contention in the community. This source of contention has been taciturn, in the vacuum of issues, that plague urban communities, yet is the most intrusive. Therefore B.A.S.A.R is hear to adds it portion to the aggregate systems that ameliorate community issues.
