The College EDge Annual Seminar and Fair Day is College EDge's largest event of the year, open to all New York public high schools. The first annual event on April 8, 2011 attracted 77 students from the Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens. The full-day program included a panel discussion featuring representatives from CUNY, SUNY, Ivy League, and other colleges who explained how to best prepare for college admissions, what advantages are offered by attending different types of schools, financial aid opportunities, and responded to audience questions. The program also provided workshops on the importance of the SATs and how to prepare for them, how to approach paying for college, and how to write a personal statement, tours of Yeshiva University to show what a college campus is like, and a 25-school college fair. The Second Annual Seminar and Fair Day on March 23, 2012 had double the attendance, offered more workshops, and attracted even more colleges and high schools.
