⚾🇵🇷 A Dream Come True at Citi Field!

On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, the National Puerto Rican Day Parade proudly celebrated MLB's Roberto Clemente Day at Citi Field, where our scholarship recipient Nicolás Rosado had the incredible honor of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch!

Having played baseball for nearly his entire life, Nicolás experienced a dream come true as he represented his Puerto Rican heritage and honored the extraordinary legacy of Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente.

Clemente's legacy extends far beyond baseball. His commitment to excellence, community, and service continues to inspire generations of young Puerto Ricans to dream big and make a difference.

At the National Puerto Rican Day Parade, we believe in celebrating our heritage while creating opportunities for the next generation of leaders. Seeing scholarship recipients like Nicolás take center stage reminds us why that mission matters.

A special thank you to the Amazin' Mets Fdn and the New York Mets for making this unforgettable moment possible!

¡Felicidades, Nicolás! 🇵🇷👏
