As CEO of the New Rochelle YMCA, I am proud to work with the Westcher County Family Task Force Chairs Westcherter County Legislator Nancy Barr and Kathy Halas on the subcommittee Disconnect2Reconnect. Our committees recently conference The Transformative Power of Play: Combating Depression, Anxiety and Isolation in the Digital Age brought the CEO of the National Institute for Play to speak on what digital effects on the brain digital devices cause people of all ages. She highlighted the critical need for play for all. The New Rochelle YMCA was one of the event sponsors because who better to support play than the Y!
