Pennywise has gone to the great sewer grate in the sky to scare children (and adults)

We took in Pennywise several years ago from our friends in Columbus OH. They had watched this timid cat survive on the streets and wanted to find an easier life for him.

He never liked anyone - human anyway.
Can’t blame him really.
He was a nightmare to medicate and flea meds had to be administered with stealth.

At least he never had to fight for food and always slept with the promise that no harm would come to him.

Rest in peace Pennywise - say hi to the wonderful Tim Curry who played your namesake so gloriously.

This is Dolly. Where my horse journey began more than 20 years ago.
She was an Arabian mare with fancy bloodlines who had been through so much trauma by the time she got to me; that she was labeled a ‘crazy horse’.
Is it crazy to be afraid of humans when they’ve all inflicted such suffering on you? No.
Dolly and I had a close bond. I was afraid of horses and she was afraid of everything - we were perfect together.
Like her namesake, Dolly was wise, sweet and beautiful but she did not hesitate to let you know her opinions.

I miss my Dolly and I’ll miss the legendary Dolly Parton and all the goodness she put into the world.

RIP Dolly - and say hi to my sweet Dolly too 💔
