🎉🍻 SEVEN YEARS OF DEAD LOW BREWING! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Yesterday, the SITREP Foundation team and our families had the opportunity to celebrate an incredible milestone with our friends at Dead Low Brewing as they celebrated their 7th anniversary!

For the past five years, Dead Low has been one of SITREP Foundation’s biggest supporters. They’ve consistently stepped up to support our mission, our events, and the veterans, first responders, and families we serve.

That kind of partnership means a lot to us. It’s about good people, strong community relationships, and businesses that genuinely care about making a difference.

To the entire Dead Low team, THANK YOU for everything you’ve done for SITREP Foundation and congratulations on seven incredible years! 🇺🇸🍻

📍 If you’re in the Cincinnati area and haven’t visited Dead Low Brewing, you’re missing out! Stop in, grab some great food (definitely the Parm garlic wings 🤤) and a cold drink, and support a local business that continues to give back to its community.

👀 AND STAY TUNED! We’ve got a pretty exciting announcement coming at the end of this month involving our friends at Dead Low!

Here’s to seven years and many more! 🍻

It is with great sorrow that the Ohio State Highway Patrol announces the off-duty death of Sergeant Tyler Carr of the Mansfield Post, who passed away following a tragic traffic crash today.

Our thoughts are with Sergeant Carr's family, the Mansfield Post, the Bucyrus District and the Patrol family as a whole.

🔥 Fire Prevention Week is a reminder that preventing the emergency is always better than responding to one.

October 4–10 is Fire Prevention Week, and this year’s theme focuses on something found in nearly every home, vehicle, workplace, and firehouse: lithium-ion batteries.

The 2026 theme, “Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging is a Superpower,” highlights simple habits that can help prevent battery-related fires.

🔋 Use the charger designed for your device.
🔋 Charge devices on hard, stable surfaces rather than beds, couches, or other soft materials.
🔋 Unplug devices once they’re fully charged.
🔋 Pay attention to batteries that become unusually hot, swell, change shape, leak, or develop an unusual odor.
🔋 Purchase products that have been tested and listed by a recognized testing laboratory.

And while prevention starts at home, we also recognize the firefighters and fire prevention professionals who spend every day educating their communities, reducing risk, and answering the call when prevention isn’t enough.

Take a few minutes this week to look around your home, garage, or workplace. Check how you’re charging your phones, tools, e-bikes, electronics, and other battery-powered equipment.

A few small changes can prevent a very big problem.

🏍️🇺🇸 WHAT A DAY. THANK YOU!

Our 2nd Annual Stogies & Stallions Benefit Ride is officially in the books, and because of everyone who showed up, rode, sponsored, donated, volunteered, ate, shared our posts, or simply came out to support us, we raised roughly $800 for the SITREP Foundation mission!

Every dollar helps us continue supporting Veterans, Service Members, First Responders, and their families when they need it.

To our sponsors who backed this event: thank you for believing in what we’re doing!

To everyone who donated or contributed, thank you for investing in the people we serve.

To our riders, thank you for showing up, putting some miles on the bikes, and making this event what it is. 🏍️

And to our volunteers, vendors, food trucks, supporters, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make today happen: we couldn’t have done it without you.

About $800 raised means more resources available to help someone when the call comes in. That’s what this is all about.

From everyone at SITREP Foundation, THANK YOU for making Year 2 another success. 🇺🇸
