Big things are happening in New Richmond, Pt. Pleasant and Batavia all to celebrate the 200th Birthday of our Favorite Son, General and President Ulysses S. Grant’s .
There will be activities in N.R. and at the Grant Birthplace on April 23rd and 24th. There will be free tours of the cottage house, with docents telling the history of Grant’s birth, the cottage and Pt. Pleasant. The Forget Me Not dancers will put on their program of dances of the period, National Park Ranger with a program about Grants connection to President Taft. We will be adding programs, so keeping checking our site.
