We can’t wait to welcome ALL K-5 students back to Monroe Elementary tomorrow, Friday, August 21, 2026! It’s going to be a fantastic day, and we are so excited to have our hallways filled with smiling faces once again.

A very special welcome goes out to our Kindergarten Lions as they begin their very first day of elementary school! We know you’re going to do amazing things, and we can’t wait to watch you learn, grow, and shine this year! ❤️

Tomorrow, Thursday, August 20, 2026, we are excited to welcome back our 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade students ONLY for their very first day of school! ❤️🖤

🚗 Friendly Reminder for Morning Drop-Off:
Our new morning drop-off location is now behind the school in the gravel driveway by the bus garage. This new traffic pattern helps keep our students safe while also minimizing traffic at the front of the school.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work together to provide a safe and smooth start to each school day.

A huge THANK YOU to Ben Smith, Donnie, and everyone who volunteered to transform Monroe Elementary’s Gaga Ball Pit!

As Ben’s Eagle Scout Project, this incredible space was completely rebuilt through countless hours of planning, hard work, and teamwork. Thanks to your generosity, our students now have a safe, beautiful place where they’ll make memories for years to come.

Ben, we’re so proud of your leadership, dedication, and commitment to giving back to our school. Donnie, thank you for your guidance, support, and hard work every step of the way.

And to every volunteer who moved dirt, hauled gravel, cut lumber, dug holes, or lent a helping hand—thank you. Your time and generosity have made a lasting impact on Monroe Elementary.

Projects like this remind us how fortunate we are to be part of a community that always shows up for our kids.

NEW ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL ROUTE

To ensure a smooth and safe drop-off and pick-up process at our school, guardians are to enter the drop off/pick up line from Franklin Laurel Rd. Students should remain in their vehicles until a staff member signals that it's time for them to exit. This procedure helps us maintain an orderly flow of traffic and ensures the safety of all students.
