Last but not least, meet our third priest panelist for our Dinner Panel event,
“Burning Questions, Holy Answers: Ask a Priest Anything!”

⛪️ Fr. Bryce Sibley is a professor of Moral Theology and Spiritual Director at Notre Dame Seminary, and also working as a Campus Minister at Tulane University Catholic Student Center.

He studied at the Pontifical North American College in Rome and was ordained to the priesthood in 2000. In 2001 he received his Licentiate degree from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and the Family in Rome.

After several pastoral assignments including chaplain at ULL in Lafayette’s Catholic Student Center where he served for 11 years, he moved to the Big Easy to assume his current duties!

🚨 Meet the next panelist for our upcoming Dinner Panel Discussion,
“Burning Questions, Holy Answers: Ask a Priest Anything”

Fr. Anthony Sortino, L.C!

☀️Fr Anthony recently moved to New Orleans from San Jose, California, to serve with the Legionaries of Christ locally, ministering to Young Adults. In fact, you’re looking at YCP New Orleans’ Newest Chaplain!! 👏🏻 He was the founding Chaplain for YCP Silicon Valley so we’re certainly blessed by his expertise.

🏙️ Fr. Anthony was born in Brooklyn, New York. His family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, when he was nine, where his family still lives. As a teenager he became involved with the confirmation program and later with Life Teen, discovering his priestly and missionary vocation working with youth and families.

📚 After a few years studying architecture and studio arts at Arizona State, he joined the Legionaries of Christ in 1994 part of the Regnum Christi family. He received his bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and theology at the Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome. He also completed a year of classical studies of Latin, Greek and the Liberal Arts in Salamanca, Spain. As an intern he spent three years in Argentina. He was a seminary instructor in Cheshire, CT, New York and Rome. He has ministered to the faithful as spiritual director and retreat director over the last several years in Washington DC, Raleigh, and Dallas.

This week, meet our esteemed panelists for our upcoming Dinner Panel event “Burning Questions, Holy Answers: Ask a Priest Anything!” on Tuesday 10/27

First, meet Fr. Mark Kramer, S.J., Pastor of Holy Name of Jesus!
Fr. Kramer is from St. Louis Missouri, was raised in a tight-knit Catholic family (you can feel the family love in these pics!), and went on to attend Notre Dame University where he met his first Jesuit. He then attended Georgetown University Law Center and entered the Society of Jesus.

Fun fact, his brother Fr. Stephen Kramer is also a Jesuit priest!

In his time as a Jesuit, Fr. Kramer has worked in immigration law, taught at the university level, done pastoral work in Belize, formed seminarians, served as a Jesuit superior, and served as a pastor previously in Grand Coteau, Louisiana where “his heart was both most on fire and at rest,” so he was very excited to return back to Louisiana as pastor of Holy Name of Jesus on St. Charles.

What a night at Jesuit New Orleans last night for our Executive Speaker Series with Randy Mill, senior project manager at Shell!
Randy, thank you for sharing how Christ has accompanied you through the ups and downs of your accomplished career and the wisdom that comes with being a seasoned professional!

We started off with Mass in the gorgeous Chapel of North American Martyrs where we learned about the architecture and art, enjoyed a great talk, and wrapped up with our happy hour social 🍷 🧀

Mr. Randy Mill, executive at Shell, will give his executive address to our chapter covering his faith journey in the workplace.

You’ll be surrounded by the Saints that exemplify mission-driven work. The Jesuit North American Martyrs gave their lives for Christ and His mission in the 17th century. These EIGHT life-like breathtaking oil paintings by local sacred artist Jaclyn Warren are on display in the gorgeous chapel where we’ll be for the event. This may be your rare chance to see them in person!

Talk followed by mini happy hour and socializing downstairs ☺️
