UMT presents a message of racial & cultural diversity, building a stronger community. We invite audiences to see the world from more than one perspective.

Bigger dreams need bigger stages.

The journey begins in New Orleans, but the stage is national. Our UMT young performers are preparing for the Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta, the world’s largest celebration of student musical theatre.

This life-changing opportunity connects our youth with national stages, industry professionals, and workshops that build confidence, leadership, and creativity for a lifetime.

To make this dream a reality, our goal is to raise $69,000 to fully cover travel, lodging, registration, meals, and materials. Every gift helps move the ensemble closer to the stage. Support the Journey.
