Support KNOMA on GiveNOLA Day!
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a severe and emotional impact on the artistic community. Delfeayo Marsalis' father, New Orleans jazz icon Ellis Marsalis Jr. died due to complications from COVID-19 in 2020. Immediately following his death, a music store in his hometown posted a sign to celebrate his legacy that read "We love you Mr. Ellis Marsalis, thank you for keeping NOLA Music Alive."
Shortly thereafter and to celebrate his father's legacy, Delfeayo founded Keep New Orleans Music Alive (KNOMA) to provide emergency relief to native New Orleans culture bearers and their families.
Help to support musicians who have brought you exciting performances, unique collaborations and heart-felt tributes over the years by giving to KNOMA TODAY.
