Camp SoulGrow Camp SoulGrow is a 501(c)(3) non-profit workshop camp for all kids to gain self-esteem and connect with their community

Camp SoulGrow is a 501(c)(3) public charity founded in 2014. Our mission is to strengthen children’s mental health. We achieve this mission by inspiring children in pressure-free opportunities for them to gain self esteem. Camp SoulGrow offers two such opportunities, each created with great intention (1) In-House workshops and (2) Off-Site adventures throughout the community that connect children

with community artists and local businesses to serve as their mentors. Given the diversity of the camp’s curriculum and inclusive workshops, Camp SoulGrow is about action- participatory, collaborative learning – in which children are able to explore new interests, discover new talents, and learn to be open-minded, enabling them to become more creative, independent, and happier human beings.

What an absolutely unbelievable day we had on our annual Day Trip to Block Island!!!

Huge thanks to the Viking Fleet for your generous hospitality aboard the Viking Starship! The ride is so much fun!!! Once we arrived to Block Island, we hopped into vans and headed to Abrams Animal Farm, where we got to feed all kinds of exotic animals (so sweet and fun!).. From there, we walked down to Ballard’s for the biggest, most joyful lunch. Everyone ordered anything they wanted off the menu, we laughed endlessly, and we even sang a belated “Happy Birthday” to Matthew—our longtime friend, former SoulGrow bus driver, art teacher, and forever part of our SoulGrow family! After lunch, it was straight to the beach! We swam, played, and laughed nonstop and it was such peaceful weather. Then it was on to souvenir shopping and a trip to Ice Cream Place, where we ordered whatever we wanted and had fun in the backyard. On the return trip across Block Island Sound, we played in the wind, searched for whales, and celebrated what an incredible day it was!!!

We could not be more thankful—to the Viking Fleet, Matthew, Devon, Migs Riga Taxi, the teams at Ballard’s and The Ice Cream Place, and to everyone who supports Camp SoulGrow!!!

This was another day of laughter, love, and lifelong memories.. What an amazing summer it has been!!!

Monday is our biggest day of the summer and we are SOUL excited! Huge thanks to our friends at The Viking Fleet for taking us on the adventure of the season — Block Island, here we come!

We’ll hop the ferry, hang out with lemurs and zonkeys at Abram’s Farm, feast at Ballard’s, swim at the beach, shop for treasures, eat way too much ice cream, and even hit the arcade before sailing home.

It’s going to be a day full of summer magic, laughs, and memories we’ll carry forever!

Every year we have such a fun time at Puff n Putt! Ms Amanda played mini golf with us on their awesome course .. it was such a beautiful day.. then Dylan and Chris took us on the paddle boats in Fort Pond. It was a perfect summer day with new friends and we are so grateful!

What a great time we had surfing with CoreysWave! Corey and his instructors took us out in Ditch Plains and we surfed our own waves for the first time! It was a beautiful morning on the water together learning new passions and making new friends! This is such a special annual workshop for us and we are so grateful for CoreysWave and their staff for helping us grow!

Tomorrow!! Come try surfing with Camp SoulGrow and learn from the pros at CoreysWave! We are SOUL grateful for CoreysWave through the years and are absolutely elated to surf again with them! We will meet at Ditch Plains Beach, Dirt Lot, and lave a land lesson, then get in the water and boogie! Wetsuits and boards provided. Another unforgettable day on the water!! Our annual half-day fishing trip aboard the Lazybones was a total blast — we reeled in fluke, sea bass, sea robin, and porgies! So many first-time catches, endless laughs, and memories to last a lifetime!! Huge thanks to Lazybones, Amanda & Kyle Pomerantz, Juliana Sheehan and the crew — you’re truly the best!!!
