We are excited to announce CILI's Summer Internship Boot Camp for Greater Baton Rouge residents: High School Seniors and local residents who are attending college, looking to prepare for summer internships.

Career Immersion & Leadership Institute - CILI has 5+ years of experience helping college students get career ready and supporting them to achieve their dreams. Our Summer Boot Camp is an intensive version of the work we do for our Fellows.

Thanks to a local Baton Rouge Family Foundation we are hosting this Boot Camp for parish residents. If you have a High School or local College student in your network, please share this. Limited space, so RSVP are required.

This Women's History Month we celebrate the leadership and impact of CILI fellows and leaders like Dr. Lisa Vosper

Dr. Vosper is a consistent supporter of CILI and brings her wealth of knowledge to support fellows. She is a leader in higher education in Louisiana, currently serving as Senior Associate Commissioner for Workforce Education Collaboration and Engagement for the State of Louisiana.

Dr. Vosper was also the keynote speaker at the 2026 CILI Kickoff Retreat.

In her speech, she encouraged the fellows to honor their personal strengths and demonstrate excellence in character. One particular quote is "Staying at the table is about the characteristics you bring with you." A reminder that your degree and knowledge will get you invited to the table but your character and commitment to excellence is what determines how long you are at the table.

We are grateful for your commitment to Louisiana and grateful for your presence in the work of CILI. 🎉

Roi Dupart

Roi Is an emerging powerhouse in the tech and IT industries.

With an upcoming graduation from Loyola University New Orleans she is half of the winning team of the 2025 Business Case competition in New Orleans (annual event of CILI) AND is also developing her own independent IT consulting firm with her business partner.

She also completed an internship at Laborde Products followed by Communities In Schools National Office, where she continues as a Data Specialist.

Roi Is truly a leader in the making and we celebrate her journey! Please comment. "Congratulations" as we honor Roi!

A legacy of love, excellence and honor 🙏🏽 We are forever grateful to you Dr. Norman Francis

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our esteemed alumnus and President Emeritus, Dr. Norman C. Francis ’52.

For seven decades, including a resounding 47 years as University President, Dr. Francis shaped Xavier into a national model of excellence and access, cementing it as a national leader in education and beyond. His legacy will live on in every Xavier student and graduate whose life was changed by his belief that education could change the world.
Join us in wishing him a good journey and prayers for his soul. May God keep his family, loved ones, and all who were impacted by his presence.
