Southeastern Roundtable Meetings Are Back!
Join us as we relaunch our quarterly roundtable meetings, alternating between in-person and virtual sessions.

Our next meeting will be held in Brockton on Wednesday, May 27th, from 12:00–2:00 PM.

RSVPs are not required, but they are recommended so we can be sure to have enough space and light refreshments for everyone.

These casual, open-forum meetings are an opportunity to discuss animal welfare topics, concerns, and ideas impacting Southeastern Massachusetts. Your feedback will be shared with the board of the Animal Control Officers Association of Massachusetts (ACOAM) to help address both regional and statewide issues.

Open to ACOAM members, supporters, and non-members. All animal welfare professionals are welcome!

We are currently working on an agenda. If you have something you’d like to add, feel free to email me.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Hello members,

We wanted to address some recent technical issues we have been experiencing. Recording issues were identified within the website system, and board members have been working to correct them to ensure all payments are properly recorded.

You may notice Square invoices for previous memberships, events, or trainings being marked as paid. These are simply being updated on our end due to processing delays. You and/or your department are not being charged twice.

Please note that Square and ACOAM do not retain any personal credit card information.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work through these corrections.

It’s Animal Control Officer Appreciation Week 🐾

This week, we recognize the dedicated Animal Control Officers across Massachusetts who serve their communities every day.

From responding to emergencies, to protecting public safety, to advocating for animals who cannot speak for themselves, ACOs play a critical and often unseen role.

Thank you for being their voice.

Join us in showing appreciation for the officers who work tirelessly behind the scenes!

Our 2026 Academy class is participating in “Handling of Potentially Dangerous Animals” with Rainforest Reptile Shows with sessions taking place over two weeks. This fan-favorite class provides hands-on opportunities for students to safely interact with animals as part of their training. This helps prepare our ACOs for the wide range of situations they may encounter in the field.
