Good morning!

Our mural artist, Trudy Tran, got into town last night to begin work on our new downtown project! Don’t be alarmed at the doodles on the wall. It is not graffiti! It is a process the artist uses as a grid for scale when painting the mural.

Everyone is welcome to sit and watch in the grassy corner to watch Trudy as she transforms the blank canvas on The Trading Post wall.

Good afternoon, Everyone! The DDA is so excited!
Our newest mural is coming closer to being reality!
Wall prep at the Trading Post building is underway. We need volunteers to help bring us over the finish line! If you can help scrap or paint on primer, please join us around 5:30 today, Tuesday or Wednesday.
Trudy Tran, the muralist, will be here Saturday to set up and paint the magic!Thank you!

Hey y'all, we are working on an art project and need your help. We are looking for photos and stories from our Arlington folks. We are hoping to find images of families gathered in the kitchen-- laughing, cooking, enjoying each other. Even better if there are kids and adults! We would love to hear stories about someone in your family passing down or teaching a family recipe.

We are also looking for some photos and stories that show families in their gardens-- tending their plants, pruning, planting, harvesting... or just having fun playing in the sprinkler. We are trying to gather these materials pretty quickly. So feel free to message them to me here or email them to [email protected]. Feel free to type your story or record it as a voice memo on your phone so we can hear all the details.
