That’s a wrap on this school year - swipe to see all the year-end activities at Yemin Orde

1: cycle club took a ride through a banana farm
2: yoga club held a final meditative session
3: students trained on the beach and tested their strength
4: first year students put on a play for their peers - all in Hebrew (which is their second, or for some, their third language)
5: teens played a game of basketball at the gym
6: youth volunteered and planted trees at a local farm

Mazel tov to the Yemin Orde Class of 2026!

These young adults came of age during one of the most turbulent periods in Israel's history. Since October 7, their school years were interrupted by war and uncertainty. Even yesterday's ceremony was nearly postponed after attacks earlier this week.

We are incredibly proud of these teens and all they have accomplished. Thanks to their experience at Yemin Orde, we know they have the tools to build bright futures for themselves and for Israel!🎓🎉

As soccer fans around the world turn their attention to the FIFA World Cup, we're celebrating a team a little closer to home.

This year, the Yemin Orde soccer team won the Northern League Championship, a remarkable achievement that reflects months of dedication, teamwork, and perseverance.

Their success doesn't end there. This summer, they will represent Israel at the 2026 Maccabi Games.

At Yemin Orde, sports are about more than winning matches. They provide young people with opportunities to develop confidence, leadership, resilience, and a strong sense of community.

Racheli Yaso, Director of Outreach at Yemin Orde, shared this quote in May 2025, during a different conflict. Yet it remains just as relevant today as Yemin Orde and schools across Israel closed amid increased tensions.

For youth at Yemin Orde, the Village is their home, routine, and community. Every closure means more instability and uncertainty for kids who have already weathered so much.

Today, we're thinking of our students and educators and hoping for calmer days ahead.
