NEACOL is a non-profit organization of Colombians and friends of Colombia in New England. Our goals are to generate innovative ideas, raise awareness, and channel resources and efforts to provide a better quality of life for the children of Colombia.

Maria Claudia Aguirre, holds a Doctor of Dentistry (D.D.S.) from the Universidad Autónoma de Manizales and a Master's in Health Administration from Universidad del Valle (Univalle), and is the co-founder and inaugural president of NEACOL. Through her leadership, she helped establish the foundation of the organization, strengthen volunteer and donor engagement, and advance initiatives, from expanding healthcare access for underserved families in Colombia to building strong support networks for Latin American women in Massachusetts.✨

Si haces parte de una organización sin ánimo de lucro legalmente constituida en Colombia, esta es una oportunidad para presentar iniciativas enfocadas en la prevención de la malnutrición, la seguridad alimentaria y el bienestar integral de niños, niñas y jóvenes, con enfoque educativo y comunitario sostenible.

En NEACOL creemos que el cambio social comienza en las comunidades más vulnerables y el proyecto "Un Gol Por Bocachica" es prueba de ello. ⚽

Durante el primer trimestre de 2026, junto a nuestros aliados de Fútbol Con Corazón (FCC), hemos logrado:
✅ 240 niños, niñas y adolescentes activos en la isla de Bocachica
✅ Meta poblacional cumplida al 100%
✅ 47% de participación femenina, el fútbol es para todos
✅ 99 sesiones de entrenamiento con metodología MEI
✅ 100% de los participantes escolarizados
✅ 2 Escuelas de Familia trabajando habilidades cognitivas y emocionales

Porque para nosotros, el fútbol no es solo deporte. Es una herramienta de transformación social que desarrolla valores, fortalece familias y construye futuros.

Seguimos comprometidos con Bocachica y con cada niño y niña que merece una oportunidad. 💛💙❤️
