Thank you so much for coming to see us at TWO events yesterday 🫶🏻💗. We had the best time at Spring Vendor Fair and also the Handmade Nashville Spring Arts and Crafts show! We just love this community so much 🥹. A huge shoutout to our wonderful volunteers who donate their time to come out and advocate for rabbits each and every opportunity they get! 🩷 It’s National Adopt a Shelter Pet day! 🩷 Did you know Happy Rabbit exists solely to serve our open intake shelters across TN? 🫶🏻 We hear it time and time again, “I didn’t know the shelter takes rabbits!” 🐰 Thousands of rabbits enter our shelter system across the US every year. ✨ Our open intake shelters are inundated with owner surrender and dumped bunnies. 💕 So before you buy that baby bunny you saw at the pet store, please check your shelter first. ☀️

😩‼️WE NEED YOUR HELP!! 🚨🔔

We are officially closed for intake 👎🏽. What does that mean? Any rabbit who finds its way to Metro Animal Care and Control in the next several weeks isn’t going to be able to receive our help ☹️. How do we fix this? You can help! 🫶🏻 If we can get 6 of these rabbits adopted, raise $1000 dollars and bring on more fosters, we can reopen intake.

Unfortunately, we’re quite literally drowning in rabbits. 🤪 What’s worse? We haven’t even seen the start of post Easter rabbit dumping yet 😩. That will start in another month or so. 💕 Please scroll and look at the cutie noses we have the honor of caring for! 🐰🐰 We will introduce them all to you over the next couple weeks.
