Congratulations to Khandez Robinson, our scholarship recipient studying Physiological Science at UCLA! This major sets Khandez up to be competitive for both Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant school, combining rigorous science with a passion for the human body.

Faith and community are at the heart of Khandez's journey. Driven by a desire to give back the same support that helped shape his path, Khandez is committed to making a meaningful difference through healthcare and ongoing community service.

As a student athletic trainer in high school and an active volunteer, Khandez has already learned firsthand the value of education, advocacy, and compassionate care. Whether the path leads to physical therapy or PA school, Khandez's goal is clear: help patients heal, manage their health, and reach their goals, creating lasting impact in underserved communities.

Scholarship Spotlight: Jordyn Henderson

🎓

Congratulations to Jordyn Henderson, our scholarship recipient and Biology major at Spelman College, with big dreams of becoming a doctor and clinical pathologist! Growing up in a low-income Milwaukee neighborhood, Jordyn has turned personal hardship into purpose, dedicating herself to expanding healthcare access for underserved communities.

Her heart for service reaches far beyond home. In August 2024, she traveled to Tanzania with the Mosorec International Foundation, helping distribute school supplies to over 1,400 students and supporting a free community health clinic. Back home, she mentors young girls through Purpose Driven Sisters and tutors K-12 students in Milwaukee.

Jordyn is passionate about girls' education worldwide and hopes to become a role model for the next generation of women leaders in science and medicine.

We're proud to invest in her future, Jordyn! 💜
