Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions We want to make their wishes come true!

Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. We serve children in 38 counties in the Middle Tennessee area, and have granted more than 1100 wishes since being founded in 2000. Every year, hundreds of Tennessee children are diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions. A wish pr

ovides a child and family with an experience that will restore hope to their lives and provide a joyful moment, or an occasion or celebration to look forward to during lengthy or life-long treatments for and recovery from illness. Our goal is to grant wishes to all eligible children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 18 in our area. If you know of a child who may be eligible, please have them contact us at 615-221-2200 or refer to them our website at www.middletennessee.wish.org. The average cost of a wish is $7,000. Today we’re shining a spotlight on volunteer Morgan! 💙

Morgan has been volunteering with Make-A-Wish for 3 years.

Her story is especially impactful, since her own brother was once a wish kid. Morgan saw firsthand the joy and hope a wish can bring to an entire family. That experience inspired her to give back, and today she helps create that same joy for other families.

Troy is a resilient 18-year-old who has undergone a liver transplant. He recently had the opportunity to travel to Italy, where he explored art, history, and World War II landmarks.

One of the most special parts of his journey was honoring his great-grandfather, who served in the military during World War II. Troy visited the hospital where his great-grandfather recovered from injuries he sustained during the war.

The experience gave Troy the chance to explore his passions, make lasting memories, and connect with his family’s history.

I really enjoyed getting to visit the building that was a hospital where my great-grandfather recovered from injuries he sustained during WW2. My favorite activity was the bike tour. I looked forward to it all week and really liked seeing the aqueducts and catacombs.” — Troy

Kolbey is a 10-year-old with a neuromuscular disorder who loves Disney and playing video games! His wish was to visit Walt Disney World® Resort and Universal Orlando Resort, where he made unforgettable memories with his family. 💙✨

Meet Jayden, a 13-year-old boy who loves sports, video games, and Disney! When he was growing up, his grandpa always promised to take him to the Walt Disney World® Resort. Sadly, his grandpa passed away two years ago before they had the chance to make the trip together.

In the summer of 2025, Jayden’s family planned the Disney vacation they had always dreamed of. But during the trip, Jayden began feeling sick and was then diagnosed with cancer.

After a difficult year of treatment, Jayden’s wish was to return to Disney World in a full-circle celebration of everything he had overcome. Surrounded by his family, he got the chance to reclaim the trip that had once been interrupted by his diagnosis and create joyful new memories.

Now cancer-free, Jayden celebrated at The Most Magical Place on Earth, honoring his grandpa’s memory every step of the way. His wish was a meaningful reminder of hope and the power of family. 💙
